I have begun to create a
series of Plexiglas boxes
surrounding specific works.
The box is an analogy for the
limited space we have in
our surroundings (mental and
physical) and how we fill that
space. Often times our boxes
get filled without our choosing.
The purpose of this series is to
reveal that these are in fact
only boxes, and just outside
of them one can find a world
without limitations. It is, in fact,
just exactly where you are
standing when viewing
these works.
