Ballet International Foundation,
which commissioned the
sculpture in 2006, annually
presents a smaller version as
an award to talented young
dancers around the world.
Even though only one award
is created and presented each
year, it has already gathered
much notoriety and is becoming
a hallmark in the world of dance.
The award itself cannot be
collected, but the original
36 inch version has an edition
of ten, and the larger 90 inch
version has an edition of six.
